An incident where a man was strangled and barbarously murdered was reported from Najar Camp Area near Vadgaon, Belagavi.
The deceased has been identified as Shankar Patil aged 46 a resident of Yarmal road has been murdered and his body was kept on a bench.
The exact motive of the murder is unknown. Shahpur police are investigating the matter.
The deceased was a centring worker.
