Only 11.24 core spent for winter session in Belagavi

This year for the winter session a sum of Rs. 11.24 crore was spent, reports the PrajaVani.
The winter session of the Karnataka Legislature was held from December 10 to 21 and for that period 11.24 crore was spent which is the lowest when compared to the earlier sessions.

All the expenses were done by the District administration and it had prepared a budget of Rs.15.42 crore out of which 5 crores was paid in advance by the Govt. Deputy commissioner Belagavi S B Bommanhalli has now sent the request for the release of Rs.6.24 crore as the balance which makes the total expenditure to 11.24 Crore.

sessionIn 2016, Rs.20.55 crores and in 2017 29.39 crores were spent. In comparion to the expenditure made for the earlier two session and the one held in 2018 the amount is almost half.
