The Traffic Police Station in Belagavi has issued notices to all shops, hotels, Garages, and other commercial establishments on College Road and Khanapur Road, demanding that they make alternative arrangements for parking for their customers.
These establishments, which include bars and restaurants, garages, and other businesses, customers have been parking their vehicles on the road, causing a hindrance to the smooth flow of traffic.
Therefore, it is essential that they provide alternative parking for their customers. Any vehicles related to these businesses found parked on the road will be subject to legal action.
Most of the shopping complexes in the city do have a basement for parking but either it’s utilised for dumping material or is doesn’t have proper openings and proper lighting for parking four wheelers. These basements are just for name sake.
Businesses should also maintain the surrounding grounds to avoid accidents.
All the BUILDINGS AND COMPLEXES IN MAIN BUISNESS AREA IS UTILIZING FOR BUISNESS PURPOSES, NO GROUND IS FOR CUSTOMER PARKING, HENCE PEOPLE ARE USING ROAD SIDES FOR PARKING. LAW AND ORDER TEAM IS ABIDE TO ARRANGE PROPER BASEMENTS PARKING FOR TWO & FOUR WHEELERS BEFORE ACCUSING PEOPLE AND FINING FOR PARKING.
Ok So the vehicles owners will face legal action. As usual PUNISH the common man. How can the business owners provide an alternative parking? When I visit the RTO office they do not allow the vehicles to be parked inside. RTO themselves have not provided a alternative parking an they are expecting the business owners to provide the parking? WOW..SLOW CLAPS.
And I am sure all this is an eye wash for the upcoming Adiveshan to show ministers clean and neat roads…Once the adiveshan is over, parking is back on these same roads.
