Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the poll-bound state of Karnataka on February 27th to inaugurate the newly constructed Shivamogga Airport and later will fly to Belagavi to inaugurate the redeveloped Railway Station.

Preparations are underway for the Prime Minister’s Belagavi visit, which will take place from 2:15 PM to 3:30 PM.

During this time, he will inaugurate the redeveloped Belagavi Railway Station and launch the next phase of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, a program that provides financial assistance to farmers.

A public gathering is being planned, and the venue is yet to be finalized. Additionally, a road show is being considered, though no confirmation has been received from the BJP.

The most likely venue for the public gathering is the District Stadium or any other viable option. It is expected that the inauguration of the Belagavi Railway station will take place at the same location as the public gathering.

The ruling BJP has been inviting central leaders to the state ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, which are scheduled to take place in less than a month. The party has also announced that it will seek votes in the name of Prime Minister Modi.

  1. CBSE 10th Exams are starting from 27th Feb(same day when our PM is visiting Belgaum). Request District administration consider it while planing vehicle movements/ road blockage etc..

Students should not suffer due to road blockages.

  2. Obviously PM will be canvassing for oncoming assembly elections, and trying to woo the electorate. Inauguration of Railway station is of secondary importance.
