Prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC will come into effect from midnight of November 24 and remain in force till midnight of December 7 and will be in force within a one-kilometre radius of the main gate of the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha (SVS) for the entire duration of the winter session of the State legislature. Two acres of open land has been rented to facilitate public demonstrations and the submission of memorandums to the government during the session.
