The Belagavi Smart city limited has floated tenders for Appointment of Private Operator to Implement Public Bike Sharing Services in Belagavi on Design, Build, Operate, Maintain and Transfer basis.
Mysuru already has this PBS (Public Bike Sharing) system in place where “Trin Trin” operates.
The tenders will be opened in March 2021.

The Minimum Numbers of bikes required are :
Bicycle Designed with Anti-Theft features – 100 nos
Electric Bicycles – 100 nos
E-Bikes – 100nos
Bicycle Docks/ Parking Hub Installations 20
The proposed fees that users pay based on the amount of time cycles were borrowed each time before it is returned to the system.
