Shri. Shirish Gogte today met the commissioner of city Corporation Jagdeesh informing that they would develop the Gogte circle and permission be granted for the same.
Shri Gogte presented a detailed report of the development of the circle and the same plan has been already shown to the traffic police and commissioner of police who has approved the same.
The plan is to install a police booth in the center of the circle. All the work would be done without hampering the flow of the traffic. Reflectors would be installed on all the sides along with small plants and flowers.
The letter states –
I have had preliminary meeting with Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime & Traffic),After meeting , it was decided and agreed to present the plan of construction, fabrication and installation of police booth at the centre of the road and beautification of Gogte circle without disturbing traffic movements and safety of police booth from rain, sun and accidents.
The Installation, location of the police booth, and beautification of the entire circle were assured and the same was approved by the Police Commissioner of Belagavi. and asked us to bring the same to the notice of your kind self and take permission for our proposal to provide Police Booth, Traffic Safety Instruction Boards, Reflectors on four sides of roads, flower potting and overall beautification of Gogte circle. We request you to permit us for overall development of Gogte Circle to ensure smooth & safe trafficking as per instructions of Police Commissioner, Belagavi.

We deeply appreciate Mr Shirish Gogte’s initiative for beautification of Gogte Circle, which is one of the busiest traffic junctions of Belagavi. We request other philantropic entreprenures of Belagavi to follow suit and adopt many other locations in the city for beautification and maintenance.
