More than 80% or more of the cycles distributed by the education department to the various school students in the city are not of good quality and the distribution of the same has been now stopped after complaints were received.
ZP CEO had ordered that the distribution of such cycles to be stopped. Around 20,701 cycles were to be distributed to students in the Belagavi educational district.
Last year also a few cycles were taken back after complaints that the quality was not up to the mark.
