The lowest level recorded since 33 years as per the input given by the oldest staff working in Rakkasakoppa since 33years was recorded on Tuesday in the Rakaskopa reservoir. 
Still 6 pumpsets are working but level is depleting fast and erection of pumpset at lower level is also becoming problematic due to presence of silt.
Existing water may last for further 4 days. There is no inflow.
Meanwhile, fresh rainfalls of low to medium intensity lashed Belagavi city and surrounding areas, including near Rakaskopp, since afternoon.
