The Railway over bridge on LC No.388 on Old Dharwad road or also known as Old PB road is likely to commence on Tuesday 24 January.
The police and District administration is yet to decide on the traffic diversion as the said gate will have to be closed as the work commences.
Already the steel girders for the same are being installed at Samrath Nagar.
KPR Constructions, Hyderabad has been awarded this works contract and the time for competition is 9 months.
Traffic can be diverted to Tanaji Galli which is already over packed and the new RoB on Kapileshwar.
Proposed Construction of ROB 1x24m Composite Girder (Railway Portion) and 4x18m PSC Girder with RE panels (Approach Portion) for four lane traffic at Km.611/900 – 612/000.
The estimated cost of the same is Rs.12,56,32,057 and the time duration for the completion of the work is stipulated to 9 months, but now the cost has been escalated.
