RSS Chief Dr. Mohanji Bhagwat to inaugurate ACPR Centenary on 1st August; Daaji to grace the occasion

The Academy of Comparative Philosophy and Religion (ACPR) also known as Gurudev Ranade Mandir, Hindwadi Belagavi is celebrating its Centenary year in 2024. The Academy was established in 1924 at Pune by Gurudev Dr. R.D. Ranade, Former Vice Chancellor of Allahabad University and a world-renowned philosopher. The academy was shifted to Belagavi in 1952 and the spectacular building at Hindwadi was inaugurated in 1965 by the then Hon. President of India Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, who was also a disciple of Gurudev Ranade.
Adv M. B. Zirali, Secretary of ACPR, told at a press conference today that the inaugural program of the centenary is from 1st to 3rd August 2024 and there would be yearlong events marking the momentous occasion.

Day 1: Thursday 1st August 2024: 4.00 to 6.00 pm. : Dr. Mohan ji Bhagwat, Sarsanghachalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) would be inaugurating the main event on Friday 1st August  at 4.00 p.m. at KLS- K.K. Venugopal Auditorium, Gogte College campus.
Padma Bhushan Shri Kamalesh Patel, also known as Daaji (Shri Ram Chandra Mission), Kanha Shantivanam, Hyderabad, would release the book “Footprints on the sands of Time” at the same event. This event is strictly for invitees only.

Session 1: 9.30 – 11.00 am: Padmashree Shri Vijay Sankeshwar,

Session 2: 11.15 am to 12.00 pm: Shri Krishna Sampgaonkar– Shanti Kuteer, Kannur, Vijayapura- “Message of Swami Vivekananda for the youth”

Session 3: 12.15 to 1.30 pm: Dr. Sandeep Nair – Regsitrar (evaluation), Chanakya University, Bangalore – Beyond Academic Knowledge and degrees : values of the competitive advantage for the 21st century”

Session 1: 9.30 – 11.00 am: Dr. C.M. Thyagaraj– Hon. Vice Chancellor, Rani Channamma University, Belagavi – “Navigation of Teaching Community towards Amritkaal”

Session 2: 11.15 am to 12.00 pm : Shri V. Nagaraj– Member- Kshetriya Karyakarini- RSS,
“Journey from Teacher to Guru”

Session 3: 12.15 to 1.30 pm Prof. BV Vasanth Kumar, Principal, Maharani Arts college for Women, Mysuru – “Teacher- Ambassador for values”
