Assistant Inspector General of Police Seema Latkar has been deputed as a special officer in charge of overall bandobast in Belagavi city from January 16 & 17 in view of the visit of Union Home minister Amit Shah.
Shri Amit Shah will attend the Jan Sevak Samavesha on January 17 at District stadium Belagavi, where preparations are in full swing and organizers, believe that a crowd of 3 lakhs is expected.
DGP Praveen Sood has made this appointment as she was the DCP law and order in Belagavi earlier.
