With the introduction of the Flight to Mumbai and an additional flight to Bengaluru from June 20, the total number of flights from Belagavi will reach to 8 flights a day to 5 destinations namely Bengaluru (4), Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Pune.
Now the AAI and the NWKRTC must think of starting shuttle bus services to Airport from the city.
In 2017 the NWKRTC had commenced such a service in 2017 but had to shut operations with no takers and also reduced flights. Then it was Peeranwadi to Sambra Airport via Udyambag, Railway Station, Rani Chennama Circle and it made 8 trips in a day and the timings were matched according to the arrival and departure of the flights.
Now with 6 flights a day, the NWKRTC must think to deploy buses may be new AC Buses on this Airport Shuttle route which will also help in increasing the travelers as most of them have issues to reach the Airport as only a private taxi is the only source.
In order to increase competition and bring down transport prices, Airports Authority of India is likely to operationalize a rent-a-cab counter at Goa International Airport next month. Belagavi airport must also provide such facilities. The moves are part of an effort by AAI to provide air passengers with cheaper and multiple options for transport once they exit the airport.
It would be very beneficial for the travelers if they can get cheaper options to reach the airport as of now it would roughly cost Rs.500+ for a taxi for a drop to the airport.
There is another line of thought which says when the travelers spent so much to travel by Air why can’t he or shell out for a taxi or an Auto. But when you want the aam Nagrik to fly arrangements for him are important.
We do have the OLA service but it is very limited and as there are bus services in Bengaluru, we should also have one which will help more Aam Nagrik to take their UDAN.
Good it has just come on right time, vacations in the air , several board exams are out already & many more in the pipeline.
GR8, ensure to maintain the punctuality,high standards & excellent service on board & as well as on ground.
Business should not be issue at all considering the sectors covered.

AC buses as like any metro city to and fro covering all the area with different routes is a must.
We are getting air connectivities to cities under UDAN 3 and hopefully the frequency of airlines operating from Belagavi will be increasing in near future. Therefore, it is equality important to get good shuttle bus services on ground from the airport to the city and vice-versa.
The district administration must gear up to provide the same without any delay. As the commuters will face lot of difficulties and will have to fetch the blackmailing of local auto/taxi to reach the airport and to come to city from the airport.
Hope, the district administration will rise to the occasion .
Please serve the AC busses or without AC busses from CBT to airport
Kindly provide shuttle bus service from cbt to airport and vice versa which will increase the income level of the transport dept and passenger may pay less amt as compare to private taxi and auto service providers
If there is a provision for booking the seat for A.C bus at the time of booking then yes it may be valid otherwise there will be operational constraints leading to loss and closure of service again..

Tickets have been booked through Goibibo(tickets attached).
There was no provision for filling details such as physically handicapped person.
I request you to let me know if ‘wheelchair’ can be provided to her for boarding at Belgaum and deboarding at Pune.

Good idea to have bus transportation to the airport.. Belgavi has to be smart to attract national and international visitors as a must visit destination, only then our air service and ground transportation will survive otherwise we will be back to square one scratching our heads and pointing fingers to each other.
Good Idea ! A source of Income for the organisers and Great relief to the travelling public(24×7)….
Bus connectivity from airport to city should ply ASAP. Timimgs should synchronise with Flight departure n arrival. Looking forward.
