In light of the airport authority’s request for additional land to facilitate the development of Sambra Airport, a site inspection was conducted today in the presence of District In-charge Minister Satish Jarakiholi and Minister for Women and Child Development Mrs. Laxmi Hebbalkar.
We are all committed to collaborating on the airport’s development. However, it is crucial that we avoid any disruption to the surrounding residential areas. Furthermore, we have emphasized the importance of obtaining the farmers’ consent before acquiring any additional land, Minister Hebbalkar said.
During this inspection, several notable individuals were present, including Rajya Sabha member Eranna Kadadi, MLA Asif Seth, District Collector Nitesh Patila, Airport Authority Director Thyagarajan, Police Commissioner Sidramappa, S.P Bhimashankar Guled, Commissioner Ashok Dudgunti, and DCP Sneha P.
