A 200 mtr skating rink of international standard was inaugurated by Padmashree Ujjawal Nikamji, Special Prosecutor, Govt. Of Maharashtra, at the Good Shepherd Central school Belagavi recently.
Mr. Raj Ghatage, Mr. Aniket Ujjawal Nikam High Court Mumbai, Mr. Avinash Potdar, Mr. Umesh Kalgatagi, Adv.Kamal Kishore Joshi, Mrs. Sheetal Kamat, Principal Good Shepherd Central School, PRO Anantkumar Dhamanekar, Suryakant Hindalgekar Belgaum Roller Skating Academy’s Students, parents, skaters and other invitees were a witness to the inauguration.
Speaking on the occasion Ujjawal Nikam said, This kind of skating rink will give skaters more time to groom themselves and eventually win awards for the country at a later stage. With so many good coaches around here I hope the youngsters will utilize this skating rink to the fullest.
The skating rink is 200mtrs on which Speed Bank Track, Roller Hockey, Inline Hockey, Artistic skating, freestyle skating, Rollball, rink ball, Skate Board, wave board, Skating stunt, basic skating and other skating related tracks exisit. Coaching in all the above will be available at Good Shepherd Central school International Skating Rink.
