The office of the Belagavi Smart city which is situated at Tilakwadi will now be shifted to the first floor of BUDA office in Ashok Nagar.
Officials paid a visit to the new site and the office could be shifted in the coming week.
The Tilakwadi office belongs to the city corporation and the consultant company works from the first floor there.
Now under the new arrangement, the consultant company will be using the same premises but the main office of the Belagavi smart city ltd would be shifted to Ashok Nagar and this has been done after the Regional commissioner Biswas followed it up.
About 2 years ago it was decided that the first floor of the BUDA office be made as to the office of the smart city but in actual the shifting will commence soon.
Would moving the office make Belgavi any smarter?
