The winter session of the Karnataka Vidhan Sabha is set to take place at the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha in Belagavi from December 19 to 30. Speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri has instructed officials to ensure that all necessary accommodations, food, transportation, and other arrangements are made to ensure a smooth and successful session.
At a meeting held on Monday (December 12) at the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha, the Speaker emphasized the importance of providing quality food and accommodation for the representatives, officials, and staff who will be arriving from all parts of the state. He also directed the Commissioner of Police to take all necessary steps to maintain law and order.
In addition, the Speaker requested that a team of doctors and staff be deployed to facilitate regular health check-ups and emergency treatment and that an ambulance be arranged if necessary.
He also noted that liaison officers should be assigned to each of the lodges and ministers and that separate medical teams should be deployed in 16 places to provide medical check-ups and emergency medical facilities.
Finally, the Speaker stressed the importance of reporting any problems or technical difficulties related to the session to the head of the department, so that appropriate action can be taken. With all of these preparations in place, the winter session of the Karnataka Vidhan Sabha is sure to be a success.
