SpiceJet commences daily flight to Hyderabad First under UDAN with a good load factor

SpiceJet started its first operation under UDAN-3 at Belagavi Airport in the Hyderabad-Belagavi-Hyderabad sector.

A small event was organized by M/s. SpiceJet to commemorate its commencement of operations from Belagavi Airport.

On the inaugural flight, 58 passengers arrived and 50 passengers departed, the flight has a capacity of 78. The load factor on the inaugural flight is very encouraging.

ixg-hydThe event started with the cutting of the ribbon by Sh. Rajesh Kumar Maurya, Airport Director, Belagavi Airport and the first few passengers of the flight.
The Airport Director also expressed his thanks and gratitude to all the Representatives of People of Belagavi, all the citizens and different organizations/groups of Belagavi city for their constant effort and contribution towards bringing the Airport under UDAN Scheme.

The SpiceJet flight (SG 3733/3734) will operate on a daily basis from Belagavi Airport with the arrival from Hyderabad Airport at 1735 IST and departure to Hyderabad Airport at 1755 IST.

Niyaz Shirahatti, Station Manager, SpiceJet thanked Airports Authority of India and all the stakeholders at the Airport.

  1. It’s a welcome beginning. We hope the other destinations will also be linked with the Belagavi soon.
    I once again congratulate the all stakeholders for making UDAN 3 Scheme a reality today and will soon catch-up the other 13 flights schedule already approved.
    This will help Belagavites in general and defence personals and students community in particular .
    I would like to congratulate hon’ble MP & Chairman Chancellor of KAHER KLE University, Dr Prabhakar Kore, who left no stone unturned to get the UDAN 3 scheme sanctioned by the Central Government and making it operationalised since today.A dream come true.Best of luck to the operating airlines too.
