Chairman of KLE society, Prabhakar Kore said to press persons yesterday that the Society would not extend the lease of the District Stadium once the lease gets over in soon. (sources told AAB the lease will get over in 2026)
Recently Minister for Youth Services and Sports Abhayachandra Jain had asked authorities to get the lease of the District stadium extended beyond the current period.
An international sports school is planned on the site he added. Also an international standard swimming pool is being built at JNMC campus.
