Mundra, home to one of India’s largest commercial ports, is a major industrial and logistics hub in Gujarat. The new service is expected to benefit business travellers, industrial stakeholders and those with commercial links between North Karnataka and the Kutch region. Star Air has been steadily expanding its network from Mundra since commencing scheduled operations there earlier this year.

With Ahmedabad and Jaipur no longer part of the operational network, Belagavi currently has direct flight connectivity to four citiesBengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai/Navi Mumbai. The newly announced Star Air service provides connectivity from Mundra (Kutch) to Belagavi via Mumbai, but does not add a new direct destination from Belagavi.
