The Belagavi City corporation has floated tenders for the Survey of street vendors with GPS survey and Supply of Smart Identity Card & Vending Certificate with QR Code and Geo Tagging for City Street Vendors in Belagavi City Corporation limits.
10263 street vendors will be surveyed in Belagavi City corporation limits.
The said scheme will be part of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM).
The aim is to reduce poverty and vulnerability of the urban poor households by enabling them to access gainful self-employment and skilled wage employment opportunities, resulting in an appreciable improvement in their livelihoods on a sustainable basis, through building strong grassroots level institutions of the poor.
The mission would aim at providing shelters equipped with essential services to the urban homeless in a phased manner.
In addition, the mission would also address the livelihood concerns of the urban street vendors by facilitating access to suitable spaces, institutional credit, social security, and skills to the urban street vendors for accessing emerging market opportunities.

• Data Entry , Scanning of Photographs , Editing of Each vendor
◦ Smart Card with Standard Thickness PVC ID Card (Machine Printed and water proof).
◦ Double Sided ID Card (Landscape) Card Size Width 8.5cm Height 5.5cm.
◦ Front Side: Vendor Details with Colour single photo, Family photo, CMC Logo, Karnataka Govt, Logo and Signature with plain white background.
◦ Generation of QR Code on Each Card with Unique ID, Weather Proof Card, Hologram Zonal &Ward Code and.
◦ Geo Tagging for each street vendor.
◦ Back Side: Instruction in Block & White with plain white background (Include Black or Transparent ID Card Holder with plain Tag).
◦ Designing Printing and Lamination of Pramana Patra of A4 size (100GSM) Lamination of the card, generation of QR code on each card, Weather Proof Card, Date Entry of Each Vendor.
