The rain god surprised each one in the city when it started to pour at around 3.30pm and then scenes were as if it was a cloud burst with visibility near Zero on Congress road and other places.
This rain continued to pour down heavily till 4.40 pm and then subsided, which again later picked up and at 5 pm it was as dark as 7pm.
With this sudden down pour the gutters were over flowing almost everywhere. There was huge water logging in low lying areas and we did see water logging at Sanchayni Circle, Globe, Bhave chowk, Ganpat Galli and market to name a few.
The rain continued till 9p.m. And most of the times many of the areas were full of water logging in many parts of the city.
The rain has subsided a bit after 9pm. But this rain has played a spoiled sport for the people who had planned to see Ganeshas tonight. Tomorrow is the last day they can see as on Saturday the visarjan will be done.
