Chief minister Sadanad Gowda who was on a visit opt the city inspected the works at the Suvarna soudha and told press persons that the contractor has promised that all work will be over by Mrach 2012 and hence the New building would be inaugurated in March 2012.
When asked about the winter session of legislature, whether it will be held in Belgaum, CM said that the cabinet will decide on this.
In a review meet the CM asked the officials to see that within two months all the roads are done and Belgaum is pot hole free.

CM Sir………………………. we are waiting for that-:)
In future, they will conduct 2 to 3 sessions (may be less), then it will become 3 star or 5 star hotel.. just like Lalit Mahal in Mysore… nothing is going to benefit from this building……
Future Hope: Belgaum is pot hole free.
Past and Present: Belgaum is ROAD FREE.
tarik pe tarik, tarik pe tarik, tarik pe tarik again its delayed and postponed to March 2012, has the govt penalised the contractor for missing the deadline can some body file RTI for this and find why the work could not be completed with time. It is due to these delay that the cost has escalated and I think people of BGM no longer give any importance to having suvarna soudha in BGM it has just benefited the real estate agents to sky rocket the land rates
