13th Free Swimming Coaching Camp for the Differently Abled and Under-privileged began today at Rotary Corporation Sports Academy’s Swimming Pool, Goaves, Belgaum
This year 212 participants will be participating in this camp comprising Mentally challenged, The Blind, Physically challenged, Deaf and Dumb, Tribals, Orphans and underprivileged. The participants are being provided with free transportation, swimming kit and staple diet every day apart from free training to all the participants.
The camp has been organised by Swimmers’ Club Belgaum and Aquarius Swim Club Belgaum in association with Rotary Club of Belgaum, Belgaum Royals Round Table – 205, LEAD, The Society for the Development of Disabled and Underprivileged, Cbalc (College of Business Administration Lingaraj College)
10 boys and girls each from Chikkumbi Math and Maheshwari Blind School are taking part along with children from Ankur and Sparsh school for Mentally challenged, Govt. Deaf School Azam Nagar, The Association of Physically Handicapped, Ajay Deaf and Dumb school, Arsh Vidhya Kendra for poor and trials,Prajwal Organization for Child Labor Rehabilitation and under-privileged children from various areas.
