After the recent incident of Rape in Manipal, Belgaum SP Sandeep Patil will meet the Principals of all colleges and request them to take some safety measures in the college premises especially for the girl students.
Belgaum has many colleges and students from various places from the nook and corner of the country come here to pursue their various courses. SP would discuss on a few guidelines for college, hostels etc where CCTV would be mandatory. Besides CCTV the campuses must be well lit especially near girls hostels and the path towards it.
good start…..better not to wait for something wrong to happen….take action to avoid it in first place.
