The Belagavi Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Southern Regional Council, is organizing a 2 days TAX CLINIC under the guidance of the Direct Tax Committee of ICAI and Publication is supported by Income Tax Department, Directorate of Income Tax (PR, P&P) on 13th & 14th July 2023.
The purpose of this Tax Clinic is to Spread Awareness about Tax, Promoting Tax Compliance and Assisting Common taxpayers for resolving queries related to e-filling of ITR which is due on 31st July 2023.
CA. Veeranna M. Murgod, Secretary on behalf of the Managing Committee of Belagavi Branch of ICAI, said that the inauguration of 2 Days TAX CLINIC will be at the hands of Shri Rajagopal Parthasarathy, IRS, Hon’ble Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Belagavi.
He also said that two Chartered Accountants will lead the Tax Clinic on 13th and 14th of July 2023 from 11.00 AM to 6.00 PM at ICAI BHAVAN, Swaroop Plaza, Shukrawar Peth, near 1st Gate Tilakwadi, Belagavi and will offer consultation on queries related to filing of returns under Income Tax Act, 1961.
It is also clarified that this program is an outreach program to give general awareness about Direct Tax Compliances and enhance the tax base of the country, and encourage the voluntary filing of Tax Returns.
The general public is requested to take benefit of the same by visiting the Tax Clinics during these 2 days. Please note that the tax experts will only resolve your queries and will not make filing of IT returns at the Help Desk.
The Tax Clinic will be organized on the Premises of the Belagavi Branch of ICAI located at ICAI Bhawan, 2nd Floor, Swaroop Plaza, Near 1st Railway Gate, Tilakwadi, Belagavi – 590006.
The Managing Committee has urged the Tax Payers to take the benefit of the Tax Clinic. The clinics are held nationwide by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India during these 2 days.
