The Tea Toast Co. (TTTC), a Belagavi-based startup in the F&B industry, is planning a significant expansion into regions of Maharashtra, including Solapur, Satara, Sangli, and Kolhapur, through a strategic partnership with Sanvik Global Foods (SGF).
A spokesperson for TTTC stated, “This partnership is a pivotal moment for us. With Sanvik Global Foods as our master franchisee, we are one step closer to achieving our goal of establishing 50 stores within the next 12 months.”
Through this partnership, the company aims to revolutionize the café experience in tier-2 cities. SGF, as the master franchisee, will contribute $500,000 to establish 20 new TTTC outlets and oversee their operations and investments.
In addition, TTTC is seeking an additional $500,000 in a second round of funding to establish 30 Company-owned, Company-operated (CoCo) stores within the next year, as part of its commitment to expanding in tier 2 cities.
TTTC opened its first outlet at the Belagavi Airport in August 2019, filling a gap in on-the-go healthy food options for travelers. They opened their second location in January 2020, at a spacious spot opposite the UK-27.
