The police reported a tragic accident when a 13-year-old was found dead in fort lake Belagavi after being reported missing.
The body of Wahid Ahmed Rafiq Ahmed Lakkundi was seen floating on the waters this morning when the police were informed.
According to the police, a missing complaint was filed three days ago about the child.
Wahid was studying in Std 7 in Sherman School.
The cause of death is yet to be ascertained and the police said they will able to share more information only after the postmortem report.
