As many as three persons were arrested by the Market police station Belagavi as the accused of the hanging of the effigy of Nupur Sharma at Fort road on Saturday.
The accused were identified as Mahmad Soheb, Aman Mokashi, Arbaj Mokashi as per the tweet
It may be recalled that on Friday an Effigy stickered as Nupura Sharma was found hanged on Fort Road Belagavi in connection with her controversial remarks against Prophet Muhammad during a TV debate.
The same was immediately removed by the police.
