All three injured in Malwan tragedy now safe and back home

7 students and 1 professor had drowned on the Wayri coast in Malwan last week and three other students, who were rescued, are undergoing treatment at a hospital have now returned back home to Belagavi and are safe.

Sanket Gadvi, Anita Hanali and Akansha Ghatge were admitted to hospital, Sanaket and Anita were discharged earlier but Akansha was admitted to a hospital in Oros as she was critical, but she recovered and was discharged from hospital on Monday evening and she too returned to Belagavi on Monday.

All the three were saved by Prof.Kudcharkar and Avdhoot Tahshildar and local fishermen but the Kudcharkar and Avdhoot died when they went to save others.
