belagavi smart city logo 1Already the KPTCL bhavan road and Mandoli road have been ear marked for making smart roads and even tenders have been floated.

The flyover at Ashok Circle which is actually not part of the Smart city project but as the central bus stand is been developed under the said project this flyover has been added to the smart city project as this will ease traffic. The flyover will begin at Hotel Shankam and will have entries to CBT and on will end near Sangolli Rayanna Circle (RTO). The length of the flyover will be about 1.5 kms.

  1. One should take care of traffic congesting at the entry entry and exit of flyovers while planning.Suitable traffic islands to be included in planning and estimates.

  2. The new Bridge at Goaves should also bypass Gogte Circle, I mean make a flyover (includes new bridge) from Maratha Mandir to Sbi main, this could be a express way from Tilakwadi to Camp…

Can have exit to RLY Stn and Military Mahadev on the left after Rly track passes..

This would be futuristic bridge design… If the authorities have time they could change if possible (Smart Bridge ☺)

  3. The entrance to the flyover should be from the NH rather than Sankam hotel. This will provide a direct exit from the highway. Also will reduce the traffic load on the Gandhi nagar road which presently is a bottle-neck.
