In a devastating incident on Tuesday night, a young doctor lost his life while two others sustained severe injuries after their car crashed into a stationary truck on B S Yediyurappa Road.
The deceased has been identified as Saurabh Kamble (25), originally from Jamakhandi in Bagalkot district. The injured individuals are Girish Kerammanavar and Chetan Dharigoudar, both 25 years old and also from Jamakhandi.
Currently, the injured victims are receiving treatment at the KLE Hospital. The trio was returning home from a joyous celebration when their car collided with a parked truck. The impact of the collision was so forceful that the car flipped multiple times before finally coming to a halt on its side. The Belagavi South traffic police have promptly registered a case to investigate the incident.
