The little singing sensation of 12, who has more than 30 awards in his kitty including the Winner of the Zee Tamil Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Vishwaprasad Ganagi has now reached the finals of the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs – Season 14 being telecast on Zee Kannada. The music reality television show with Vijay Prakash, Arjun Janya and famous music composer Hamsalekha as the judges and Anushree as the host.
Chotta packet bada dhamaka from Belagavi who came into lime light with the Voice of India show and who later won the Saregamapa Lil champs Tamil, Vishwaprasad Ganagi has sung for AR Rehman for the Tamil movie Mersal.
Mersal music album was launched at the mega event in Chennai on Sunday. Mersal is Vijay’s 61st film and also the 100th movie to be produced by Sri Thenandal Films.
Vishwaprasad has been learning classical music for the past three years. He first participated in a singing show in Itagi and went on to participate in a Kannada singing reality show. He did well there and his parents thought that he should participate in the national show.
His parents have been very supportive; in fact, his father takes time out to take Vishwa to singing class, which is 40 kms from my house.
A class topper, his favourite subject is Science, and apart from this, he likes playing the harmonium, kabbadi, kho kho, reading books, drawing, doing magic tricks and learning about the galaxy and says he will keep singing as his hobby only.
He would also doing a Tour of Australia in June where he will perform at Sydney and Melbourne at the Vansan Mega Star musical night statting Vijay Prakash, Karthik & Srinivas.
