The Water Supply problem has been solved and there will be a smooth flow of water supply from tomorrow. Within 2 to 3 days water will be supplied to every area of Belagavi.
Lack of proper water supply has been a perennial problem for the residents of Belagavi. Hence, today MLA Benake inspected Basavankolla water pumping Station with concerned officers and advised to uplift the water at night time and supply the water in the daytime to reduce the period of water supply.
Due to New Pump fitting at Hidkal Dam water supply to Belagavi city has been stopped for a week, today water supply department officials and myself resolved the problem.
It’s been 10days and counting today is 11th it’s festival time and it’s such a hopeless situation.its Deepawali time and in city area (bhandur galli) we have to think even to have bath and from today ordering drinking water can there is no place to complaint.
Why Does such a situation arises ??? I wonder— Water shortage !!!!! H’MMMmmmnnn.. Even after the bumper rainfall in 2019 in Belagavi !!!!!!!! It just appears to be a Blaming Game ??????? Hope the problem is resolved on eve of DIWALI……….
