Founded by Sharad Patil and Nandita Yenagi, Whale Wearables is a patented startup dedicated to women’s safety. It offers smart, stylish, and effective wearable security solutions. Nandita, inspired by her own experience of Eve-teasing, realized the urgent need for accessible self-defense tools. The duo’s journey began after participating in a candle march for the Nirbhaya case, which fueled their commitment to empowering women through innovative technology.
The Sharks were captivated by the startup’s mission and product innovation. Aman Gupta and Vineeta Singh saw immense potential in the brand and decided to back the venture with a ₹30 lakh investment for 3% equity.
