Both houses of the Karnataka state legislature were adjourned sine die on Friday afternoon, ending the 10-day winter session here at the Suvarna Vidhan Soudha at Belgaum.
Kagodu Thimappa and his counterpart in the Council D H Shankaramurthy adjourned when the two houses after paying tributes to Nelson Mandela.
At end of the winter session the demand for Kunda and Gokak Kardant was on its peak. Other sweets like Kalakand and Mande were in great demand as the staff from legislative assembly and also the MLAs returning back wanted to take home the sweet from Belgaum.
