A young individual fell victim to a brutal attack by unidentified assailants in Shivabasava Nagar on Wednesday night. The deceased has been identified as Nagaraj Gadiwaddar, a 26-year-old resident of Waddarwadi in Ram Nagar, Belagavi.
In response to this heinous act, senior police officials promptly visited the scene and are currently working diligently to identify those responsible.
Nagaraj was mercilessly pursued and ultimately killed by a mob who pelted him with stones. The motive behind this appalling incident remains unknown.
The shocking act of violence unfolded right in the middle of the street at around 10.30 pm on Wednesday night, further intensifying the already tense atmosphere in the area. Promptly responding to the distressing news, the Mal Maruti police swiftly arrived at the scene to investigate the incident.
