A circular has been circulating among railway groups in recent days, mentioning the introduction of the Belagavi to Bengaluru Vande Bharat train. This news has generated significant interest and excitement among railway enthusiasts and travelers alike.
The Subject of the circular reads, Infrastructure for the introduction of Vande Bharat trains-regarding Ref:-This office letter No: T.454/Vande Bharat/23-24(179) Dated: 04.08.2023.
With reference to the above, Representations have been received for the introduction of Vande Bharat trains from major stations over SWR system. This issue was issued and discussed with MOBD, during VC held on 19.07.2023 with all CPTMs. The details of trains are as under
Divisions are advised to furnish the availability of Infra structure for maintenance and for handling of the above-mentioned Vande bharat Trains to this Office before 18.00hrs of date.
Earlier in the Loksabha Session MP smt. Mangala Angadi had also asked a question about the commencement of the Belagavi – Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express.
Minister of Railways, communications and electronics & information technology Ashwini Vaishnaw had then replied, 15 pairs of train services are presently catering to the needs of the passengers of Belagavi-Bengaluru sector while 16 pairs are catering to the Belagavi-Pune sector. Besides, introduction of trains including Vande Bharat trains, is an ongoing process over Indian Railways subject to operational feasibility, traffic demand, availability of resources, etc.
