Sachin B Sabnis was educated at St. Paul’s High School Camp Belagavi for his initial schooling and completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from K.L.E College of Engineering, Belagavi. After completing his studies, he gained work experience by working in organizations such as BEMCO Hydraulics Belagavi and Ashok Iron Works Belagavi.
With over 28 years of experience in various capacities, he established M/S SAI Founders & Engineers in Udyambag, Belagavi in 1995, which was a successful small foundry. In 2001, he founded another company called M/S Sai Metals in Machhe, Belagavi. He went on to establish M/S Belgaum Ferrocast India Pvt. Ltd. (BFPL) in 2006, which has an automated foundry and machine shop equipped with the latest machines. As the Managing Director of the company, he has traveled across India and the world, including the USA, Canada, Germany, France, UAE, and China, for business promotion and development.
In February 2023, Sachin B Sabnis was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Vishveshwarya Technological University (VTU) in recognition of his contributions to science and technology. Additionally, he holds leadership roles in various organizations such as Laghu Udyog Bharati Karnataka, where he serves as the State President, and Intellectual Forum Prabhuddha Bharat, where he is the Convenor.
