The Ekalavya award for year 2012 by the Youth Empowerment and Sports Department which is the highest ranked award given by the Government of Karnataka to the best Sportspersons of the State was given to Preetam Chougle (body building) among other winners.
The awards were given away by the chief minister at the Vidhana Soudha on Thursday, to coincide with the National Sports Day.
