24 international gold medals in Swimming & now has no house to stay

A winner of 24 international gold medals in Swimming in various competitions, Raghaveanvekarndra Anvekar, a physically challenged swimmer from Belgaum, but this hasn’t changed his life.

 Anvekar was residing in an 8×10 ft house at Chenamma Nagar, which was provided to his family by the owner of a bungalow where his father worked as a watchman and now as the owner of the bungalow wants to reconstruct the said bungalow, Raghvendra has nowhere to go.

 Raghvendra has approached authorities to get help, but nothing positive is coming out.

 The DC informed Anvekar that he would be able to help him out only after the elections as the model code of conduct was in place.

 Raghvendra, earns about Rs.2000 per month by training others. In 2007 he had applied to BUDA for a plot but he could not deposit the Rs.2 lakh and now the gold medalist is on the look out of a house which he can afford.
