Phoenix Public School stunned St Paul’s School in the finals and won the Under – 17 Inter School Football tournament for Boys organized to mark the 17th Founder’s Week of Phoenix Public School. Phoenix Public School defeated St Pauls by a margin of 2-1 goals.
Kiran Jogani opened the account of Phoenix School in the 10th minute of the match. Abhishek Cherekar then equalized for St Paul’s in the 25th minute. Channabasv Inchal of Phoenix made it 2-1 from 5 minutes to time and enabled his team beat formidable St Paul’s side and win the tournament.
Chief Guest, Military School Administrator Seema Mishra, Phoenix School Administrator J C Tapan, Principal Alka Patil gave away the prizes to the Winners and Runners Up.
