Local boy from Swimmers Club Belgaum and Aquarius Swim Club Belgaum and Student of St. Paul’s High School Master Roshan Uday won the Individual Championship with 24 points on the 4th day of 29th National Swimming Championship held at Rajkot, Gujrat.
He represented Karnataka and participated in following events:
50 mtrs. Breast Stroke Gold Medal
100 mtrs. Breast Stroke Gold Medal
50 mtrs. Free Style Gold Medal
4X50 mtrs. Medley Relay Gold Medal
4X50 mtrs. Free Style Relay Silver Medal
It is the first time in the History of Belgaum any swimmer has won Individual Championship in Swimming sports at the National swimming Championship.
