In the Kendriya Vidhyalaya’s Zonal Skating Championships 2016 skaters of Belagavi Roller Skating Academy, took part and they have brought 2 Gold, 4 Silver Medals. The Championship is held at DRDO School, Bangalore. Nearly 250 Skaters from all over the zone participated in this championships. The detail results are as follows

Tushar Prabhu studying in 7th Std and Maneet Patil studying in 8th Std at Kendriya Vidhyalaya No 2, Belagavi, selected for Kendriya Vidhyalaya’s Nationals. The above championship is being held at Hyderabad in the month of October 2016.
All the skaters are practicing from last 7 yrs at Rotary Corporation Sports Academy’s Skating Rink and KLE’s Skating Rink, Lingaraj College Campus Belagavi under the watchful guidance of Suryakant Hindalgekar, Vishal Vesane, and they are encouraged by President Umesh Kalghatgi, Madhukar Bagewadi, Principal Arun Kumar Singh, Kapil Shrivastav Physical Instructor.
