Shashidhar Kurer has taken over the reins from G Prabhu as the new Commissioner City Corporation Belagavi on Saturday. Kurer was the commissioner BUDA for a year.
A year back Kurer was the acting Commissioner of Corporation for a short while when Ravikumar was transferred.
Now the new commissioner will have to start a fresh and commence the work Smart city which has been stalled.
Also the new commissioner has to reply to the Contempt notice issued by the high court for demolishing a structure which had a stay in Darbar galli.
These transfers by the government are to make sure no work is done and no one is held accountable!
