Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the counting of Votes of the Gram Panchayat elections, Deputy Commissioner M G Hiremath said that as many as 15 persons from the Belagavi district have arrived from the United Kingdom in the recent past.
Throat swabs were taken as per the SOP and all the 15 returnees are COVID Negative.
Out of the 15 returnees 10 are from Belagavi city while the other 5 are from the district.
All the 15 have been advised by the Health department to take extra care and inform immediately if they have any symptoms.
