Since November 17 the health department started its COVID testing for faculty, staff and the students of various colleges in the city.
In the first phase 6 staff tested positive but later the positivity rate has come down.
Later the students were also tested and 3 of 1142 tested were positive.
1142 students were tested from 13 colleges in the city and thankfully only 3 tested positive who are no undergoing treatment.
The swabs were taken in their colleges itself and a few at the PHC’s by the health department.
Are the colleges in Belagavi City and around working NORMAL, i.e. Physical attendance of students,staff in their respective institutions etc.???????? Then they (students) should strictly observe safety (Covid-19) norms………Please ALL take care …….
