The Kittur Rani Channamma Mini Zoo Bhutramanhatti Belagavi, sprawling across an impressive 31.68 hectares, is about to welcome a new guest – a Tigress from the Banergata National Park. This addition will bring the total number of Tigers in the Belagavi Zoo to four, with the other three already residing at the KRC Zoo Belagavi.
Excitingly, the North Karnataka region will now have it is first-ever Tiger Safari open for public viewing. Visitors can now witness the majesty of these magnificent creatures up close, along with other wild animals such as lions, leopards, bears, hyenas, peacocks, pigeons, parrots, and various birds. All these animals are housed in enclosures that are designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for them while allowing visitors to observe them in their natural habitats.
The Kittur Rani Channamma Mini Zoo is committed to providing a unique and educational experience for visitors while also ensuring the welfare of the animals. With the addition of the Tigress, the zoo is poised to become an even more popular destination for animal lovers and nature enthusiasts alike.
