Abhay Patil, BJP MLA Belagavi south alleged that the state government had shifted the Ayush medicine manufacturing unit from the Vaccine Depot premises at Tilakwadi, Belagavi to Bengaluru.
Speaking to presspersons at the Vartha Illakhe Patil said that the coalition government in power is giving step-motherly treatment to North Karnataka and especially Belagavi. The BJP government had planned to set up an Ayush medicine producing unit in the Vaccine Depot in Belagavi. But Health Department officers have shifted it to Bengaluru.
Recently the state government had announced the shifting of the divisional office of the Karnataka State Highway Improvement Project (KSHIP) to Hassan.
HD Kumaraswamy wants to declare Belagavi as the second capital and every week some of the offices are been shifted from here.
Patil said no funds have been released for development of Belagavi after the JDS government came into power.
