B.K.Hariprasad, MP in Rajya Sabha from Karnataka asked Suresh Prabhu Minister for Civil Aviation as to why the flights from Belagavi were transferred to Hubballi.

The MP categorically asked as to why all the flights were shifted from Belagavi to Hubballi under UDAN scheme and why should one city grow at the expense of another.

  1. At last some one has brought this matter in parliament. Our local leaders need to take this matter further for the increased air connections from Belagavi. Belgaum needs to be included in to Udan scheme 3. Our local leaders need to put pressure on the concerned authorities for the same.
